Wow, Jokowi has Time Capsule Monument In West Papua!

Are you a fans from The Avengers? Get ready because you will see Tony Stark’s headquarter in a real life in Merauke, Papua. The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo or who is familiarly called Jokowi this morning has inaugurated the Time Capsule Monument in Merauke, Papua. This time capsule monument was viral because its shape is resembled to the headquarters of Tony Stark and his friends, namely The Avengers! Do you know what are the facts behind this time capsule monument?
1. It has elements of Papuan history
The architecture of this monument is Vori Antar Awal principle adopting Papuan cultural elements. Capsule Time will be placed on top of a monument building inspired by the Dani tower, with five accesses to the building representing five indigenous Merauke tribes (Malind, Muyu, Mandobo, Mappi, and Auyu) as Time Capsule Tugu guards.
In addition to adopting elements of Papuan history, this monument also has elements of Indonesian pride, namely 17, 8 and 45. The monument is 17 meters wide and 8 meters high and 45 meters long. Inside the monument is decorated with reliefs on the journey of Indonesia, Pancasila, and Papuan Culture.
2. Not only the shape, the meaning is also similar to The Avengers.
Jokowi said in an interview that it was not only the shape that resembled The Avengers but its meaning too. This monument has the same spirit as the Avengers, which is dreaming big like protecting many people and weak people. lokowi even said that he was following the issue on social media that were busy talking about the unique form of this monument.
3. This monument is the highlight of the Let’s Work National Movement
This monument does not necessarily exist in Papua, this monument is the culmination of the ‘Ayo Kerja’ National Movement which was initiated by the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia three years ago at Zero Kilometer point, Sabang, Aceh. Inside this monument contains seven dreams of Indonesia children who have traveled to 34 provinces in Indonesia and have traveled 24,089 kilometers. lokowi hopes with this monument, the dream
that has been expected is not only kept, but also realized by upholding the values contained in every dream.
The seven dreams are: 1. Indonesian human resources have intelligence that surpasses other nations in the world. 2. The Indonesian people uphold pluralism, culture, religion, and uphold ethical values. 3. Indonesia as a center of education, technology and world civilization. 4. Our society and government apparatus are free from corrupt behavior. 5. Building infrastructure that is evenly distributed throughout Indonesia. 6. Indonesia as an independent country and the most influential country in the Asia•Pacific. 7. Indonesia as a barometer of world economic growth. Later, these capsules will be reopened in 2085 by future generations to continue the development.
4. It takes years for the time capsule monument to build
It took a long time to be able to build a time capsule monument in Merauke. Phase I development was carried out two years ago in the form of foundation work with a budget of 7 billion rupiah. Then Phase II of the monument is done in July 2017 and will only be completed in November 2018 with a construction cost of 82.9 billion rupiah. This monument have 2,5 hectares in total.
The task of realizing the dream is not just an individual task. Indonesia needs all of the people to realize Indonesian children’s dreams come true. So, we will wait until 2085, is there a rapid change for the next seventy years?
